We have over 20 years’ experience in Education Recruitment. We are proud to be a small family business that has built up an excellent reputation with both schools and teachers/support staff alike. We provide a personalised service and enjoy building relationships with our staff. Because of this  we can provide the right school for each person and the right person for each school. We pay competitive rates and value each employee.

How often will I get paid?

All teachers and support staff get paid on a weekly basis and will receive their pay every Friday. Payslips are sent electronically and are sent in advance of the pay date each week.

How do I register?

  1. After contacting us via phone or email we request you send us your CV which outlines your relevant experience and qualifications. We then send you a link to create your profile and upload the relevant documents to our staff portal.
  2. Once your online profile is complete we will invite you to our office for an interview. We will also use this time to verify your ID/documents and answer any questions that you may have.
  3. DBS application (if required) will be processed and referees will be contacted.
  4. Once your file is fully compliant you are ready to work.

Do I have to work set days?

No. We offer flexible work opportunities and are confident that we can provide work opportunities that suit your personal needs. We can offer long term, short term, and daily work. You tell us your availability and preferences and we find work to fit your schedule/needs.

Do I need a DBS?

Yes, it is essential that all our teachers & TAs either hold or will apply for an enhanced DBS. This is vital to adhere to strict safeguarding standards. The cost of a DBS is £48.80, and we can process this for you, on receipt of payment. We advise everyone to sign up to the ‘Update Service’ as this keeps your DBS ‘live’ and part of a yearly subscription (£13 yearly fee applies).

Do I need to fill in timesheets or online booking forms?

No. You only have to confirm the bookings/days worked via our staff portal.

What areas do you cover?

We have many schools across Newport as well as schools across Torfaen, Monmouthshire, Blaenau Gwent, and Caerphilly Boroughs.

Can I use supply to access full time employment?

Absolutely! We have found countless teachers and TAs full-time positions in schools. Supply is an excellent way to get to know different schools, gain experience and build your reputation.
