Accent on Education is proud to support local sports teams and tournaments in the local area through sponsorship. We believe that sports are an important part of a well-rounded education, and we want to help students to have the opportunity to participate in sports and learn the valuable lessons that they can teach.

Our sponsorships help to provide financial support for these teams and tournaments, and they also help to raise awareness of Accent on Education and our commitment to supporting local schools and their communities.
We believe that sports are a great way for students to learn about teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. They also provide students with a healthy outlet for their energy and a way to stay active. Last month saw the Secondary Schools Football and Rugby Finals which took place over two weeks. The Rugby Finals comprised of 10 Finals across Years 7-11. NHSOB RFC kindly hosted the event and it was an excellent week of Rugby. The Football Finals were played at The Geraint Thomas National Velodrome 3G and was an excellent facility for the players to showcase their skills. The football competition comprised of 6 Finals from Year 7-Seniors. Over 700 children participated in these finals and each player received an Accent on Education Newport Schools Finals Medal. Accent on Education also provided a player of the match award for each game. As mentioned it was an excellent two weeks and we would like to thank the players who were a credit to their schools, teachers, schools, referees and host venues. We will now start planning for next years competition and look forward to the Newport Primary Schools Football Finals and Summer Festival taking place on the 28 June at The Geraint Thomas National Veledrome 3G Football Pitch.
